2nd May 2016

Plus 11 and dry when driving in.. A bit of rain overnight.

Nam Hai ran a blinder at Goodwood on Saturday to finish 3rd. he probably should have finished 2nd but he struggled to handle the down hill part of course early on in the race. It was good run and again I wonder why nobody has taken up more shares in him.. Email to find out more. He will win.

Un Ace unseated Tom Bellamy 3 from home although he was struggling at the time.. the ground had gone soft after rain and poor horse just cannot jump out of it.. Hence the season over hurdles last and now a summer break in the hope we have better conditions when he returns.

Forgotten Hero ran well at Newmarket to finish 5th.. He looked like taking a big part in the finish two furlongs from home and we will drop him back in trip for his next run.. More to come from him.

Yesterdays Kim Bailey Racing Partnerships open day and lunch was a huge success..

70 KBRP members/owners called in here to see their horses parade and wander around the yard; this was followed by lunch for all at The Cheltenham Park Hotel.

A good lunch during which magician Richard Parsons entertained and this was followed by Matt Chapman and I talking.. Matt is so good at that sort of thing and my partnership folk thoroughly enjoyed their listen and day.

We left late….Some still there… I think they were staying.

This is what one person said yesterday..'You have no idea how much being a member of your partnerships mean to my husband.. He works hard all week and all that stress is lifted by a visit to Thorndale to see his two horses.. A walk up the gallops and he comes home a different person.. You should try and bottle that feeling. Thank you..''

Well done to Peter Kerr for organising the day.. It was fun and that is what being a member of our partnerships is all about.

Just in case you feel like joining our latest one.. Chateau Robin is our new horse and 8 of the 12 shares were sold yesterday.. For more details please ring Peter Kerr on 07901763643 or email

We have 4 runners today.

Heard at lunch yesterday!!?

Wife: I wish I were a newspaper so I'd be in your hands all day.

Husband: I too wish that you were a newspaper, so I could have a new one every day!
