Minus 3 and dry when diving in.

Good to be back at Cheltenham with a few owners. Not the same as with crowds but far better than what we have been through over the last few months.

Java Point ran ok but found the difference of winning a maiden hurdle at Warwick to a competitive open ended handicap hurdle at Cheltenham a huge step up in class… That will be it for now; he will now go chasing which is what he was bought to do…

Rockys Treasure according to David Bass found the ground too fast for him.. He is a wily old boy and has run many times on fast ground and there is a limit as to how many times they will come back on it.

Clerk of the course dilemma.. Simon Claisse asked 3 trainers who were standing together by the paddock rails whether he should add more water to the racecourse overnight.. 2 said yes and one said no..3 mm was put on..

Thursday morning and it is our easy day.

Julie and David Martin and Dan Hall were here late morning to see their horses I Cant Explain and Peaked Too Soon.. Ajero went home yesterday for his summer holidays.

Never sing in the shower! Singing leads to dancing, dancing leads to slipping, and slipping leads to paramedics seeing you naked. So remember…Don’t sing!
 
I see people about my age mountain climbing; I feel good getting my  leg through my underwear without losing my balance.
 
So if a cow doesn’t produce milk, is it a milk dud or an udder failure?
