Thursday is our easy day.. not many to be easy on.
Nick Sutton was in second lot to ride out his horse Such A Legend.
Will Wriggall was finally here to see our Gallop camera. Will who runs and manages the Lambourn gallops was here to see how we use our gallop camera.. something he is thinking would be good for lambourn? Agricamera installed ours.
David Stoddart who died a few weeks ago has his Thanksgiving/ Memorial service this afternoon Holy Cross Church, Daventry, NN11 4BL, at 2pm, and it will be a pack affair. Hugo Bevan is giving the address.. there will be laughter and great memories flooding out of the church as Dave was a man who enjoyed his life.
Talking enjoying life, Clare and I went to see one of my fishing partners James Cheatham last night. James took a horrid fall a couple of weeks ago and fractured his pelvis, ribs and punctured a lung.. Now out of Gloucester Hospital he is recovering in a nursing home in Bourton on the Water.. Cheery and smiley as usual; James should be back home later this week. .
More records broken at the Goffs Landrover sales in Ireland yesterday..
Mat and I are interviewing a couple of chaps later who have applied for the stable amateur job which has become available since Henry Morshead has turned conditional and moved to Paul Nicholls..
