Graham Potts was in late morning to scope a couple of runners for later this week..Normal practice..

This weeks movers and shakers in the BHA handicap charts were..Aliandy down 2 to 120, Cresswell Legend down 1 to 132, Hes No Trouble down 1 to 127 while Subway Surf enters at 115.

The Cotswold Hunt hold their annual Christmas Eve meet at Thorndale.

It means that we have to get our morning over early than normal as we have a couple of hundred horses standing around the field on the way to the gallops..

We are sending a couple of horses out for a jolly.. Tail hunting around the farm.. Ned Curtis and Leigh Pollard are doing the riding..

The calm before the storm? It is going to feel odd watching the King George from home rather than from a racecourse. Only 6 runners but still  a ‘ Christmas cracker’.

Midnight Mass or Church tomorrow.. we usually opt for Whittington in the morning..
