Plus 11 and raining when driving in.
Racing yesterday was shocked by the death of ex jockey JT McNamara.
41 years old and a truly brilliant jockey.
I did not know JT or ever use him as a jockey but his record as the best amateur was unsurpassed.
His record at Cheltenham alone shows just how good he was 16 winners, 4 festival winner and 7 x-country races on the famous Spot Thedifference..
JT’s race career came to a dreadful end when he suffered a horrific fall at Cheltenham from Galaxy Rock in the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir Chase at the Festival in 2013..
All our thoughts go out to his wife Caroline and their three children Dylan, Harry and Olivia.

So.second at Worcester last night with Net Work Rouge.. why should I get annoyed. David Bass picked up a two day holiday for trying too hard.
Was it the first day of winter? It was dark when I arose this morning, for the first time.
David Bass and Richie McLernon were in for a couple of lots this morning.
We jumped Ballyknock Lad over fences.
We also worked Jimmy The Jetplane and Sunblazer.
Very fresh horses. Cooler weather, fresher conditions make for fresh horses. So much so that many had a first canter this morning when returning from their session on the roads. We need to keep their backs down.
Today I should finish tapping away the words for my open day brochure. Always a relief when it is finished. ''He has the size and scope to be a chaser next season when his owners patience will I am sure be rewarded....?
Pippa Green via my sister sent this one over..
THOSE FOUR little words ... "I LOVE YOU SWEETHEART"
A group of women were at a seminar on how to live in a loving relationship with your husband.
The women were asked, "How many of you love your husband?"
All the women raised their hands.
Then they were asked, "When was the last time you told your husband you loved him?"
Some women answered today, a few yesterday, and some couldn't remember.
The women were then told to take out their cell phones and text their husband: "I love you, sweetheart ."
The women were then told to exchange phones with another person, and to read aloud the text message they received, in response.
Here are some of the replies:
1. Who the hell is this?
2. Eh, mother of my children, are you sick or what?
3. Yeh, and I love you too. What's up with you??
4. What now? Did you crash the car again?
5. I don't understand what you mean?
6. What the f*ck did you do now?
Another six tomorrow.. the last one will be well worth the wait..
