Minus 1 and snowing when driving in.

4x4 needed to get in this morning as the back roads were very white and although only a couple of inches it was still not ideal unless your drove a suitable car.

Mat was the only person smiling this morning as at long last there was a need for his Landrover Discovery..

Last night we dined at Prithvi. Brilliant.

A packed restaurant and good company. Adam Henson, Charlie Gilbert, Annabel England, Simon Claisse, Clare and I had a brilliant night out.

Adam drove as he was on his last night of dry January and frankly without his 4x4 we would probably not have made it home as the snow storm started at about 9.30.

Prithvi is now based in No 38 and the new surrounding has really improved their atmosphere.. the food has always been brilliant.. Proper fine dining and great service.

Tristan Bailey was on the table next to us..

We are not even attempting to get the horses out this morning. A day off won’t do them any harm. Vinndicaton was the only one ridden. Every hopeful that Sandown will be on tomorrow…? They are very hopeful as light snow of non frozen ground..
