Plus 7 and dry when driving in.

Summer looks like it is on the way.. Record crowds at Cheltenham (11500) yesterday as we all raced in bright sunshine and 20 degrees.

All the races were hugely competitive and looked for all like they were races that could have been staged there last month.

Silver Kayf virtually fell at the third and that was his race over.. he has a problem that needs sorting. Station Master ran well for a long way but the handicapper has his measure and he will now go chasing. Rocky’s Treasure ran a blinder to finish 5th  putting his last two poor runs well behind him.. the difference of ground..

Thursday is our easy day and for a welcome change we were able to take some horses round the farm as the ground has finally dried out enough… Bizarrely our schooling or jumping ground was as wet as it has been all winter yesterday..

Red Spinner and Balleticon were the only ones to work this morning.

We are back at Cheltenham today were, hard to believe, they have watered overnight as their ground has dried so fast in yesterdays wind..

It is ladies day at Cheltenham as all the races are for mares.. We have two runners in the hugely competitive mares only bumper.. Diamond Gate and Lady Of The Night. And for my thoughts on their chances please click here.

Tattersall’s sales after racing at Cheltenham this evening..
