Plus 13 and drizzlijng when driving in.. strong winds and heavy rain.. todays forecast!
Annoying to finish second.. But Two For Gold ran a blinder and the winner was well trained by my ex assistant Alex Hales.
We were pleased and now he is ready to step back up in trip.
Only Kevin Clancy made the trip .. We had a good lunch and after the race we left the course and celebrated his good run with a decent bottle of red wine..
All day in the car with David Bass and much to discuss.. especially suspensions..
Supper last night with Diana Henderson, Jim and Melinda Wilson and Cornelius Lysaght.. Plenty of gossip!! Did you know….?

Chris Daniels and Tara Davies were here second lot for a tour of Thorndale.
Dick and Anne Bradford were here to see their horse Starvoski
Paul and Sue Baker were here third lot to see their KBRS horses Design Icon and Voyburg
Cilla Wills was here to see here KBRS horse Voyburg
Paul Martin was here to see his KBRS horses Donnie Brasco and Galante De Romay
We have 6 runners over the weekend.
Today at Wetherby we run Hes No Trouble and Vinndication. Tomorrow we run Imperial Icon and Imperial Aura at Carlisle and Espoir De Romay and Lots Of Luck at Huntingdon.. For my thoughts on all their chances please click here.
The missus isn't talking to me. She said I ruined her birthday. I'm not sure how...I didn't even know it was her birthday.
