Last day of holidays for some jockeys..The 2024/2025 Jump season starts tomorrow. There is racing at Cheltenham tonight.. Hunter Chase meeting and always a fun one.

We had India Smith staying last night. India was passing through on her way to a wedding in Herefordshire tomorrow.. Not long before she and Harry Bailey tie the knot on June 28..

Archie was up from Bristol.  No cricket for him as he is currently injured with a side strain.... Poor Archie lost a good mate yesterday. Josh Baker was with Archie at school and they played plenty of cricket together. They played against each other only 3 weeks ago..Shocking news .. His poor family..

The four of us had supper in the Halfway House in Kineton last night.. A first visit there and it was excellent.. It has rave reviews and you could see why...

My PA Maya was celebrating her birthday in there too.. I am sure she made sure we were different sides of the room!

Goffs Punchestown Sales last night.. Kevin Ross bought lot 13 to come here.. Draco Malfoy will run in the same colours as Chianti Classico.

We have our usual Friday vet visit..

We would like offer our sincere thanks to you and staff for sharing your journey through the season with us. We have rejoiced in your highs and felt your pain in the lows.

The weather has not been kind to you but to still manage 32 wins and half a million in prize money is no mean feat.

Your blog has made us laugh and sometimes shed a tear it is always the first thing I read at 7am every morning especially to see what the weather is like and smile at the jokes!

We wish you and your team all the very best for the new season but above all we hope your riders, jockeys and horses come home safe and sound.
