Plus 11 and wet when driving in. It was another night of listening to torrential rain.. 10mm again.

Martyn and Sandra Steer Fowler and Tim and Anita Dymond were here third lot to see their Real Partnership horses Trelawne, English Willow and Killigarth.

Does He Know should, under normal circumstances, be heading to Kelso this morning, but the weather gods are doing their damnedest to ruin our sport! Kelso is off!

We have our usual Friday vet visit..

This was always going to happen?

The British Horseracing Authority (BHA) and Great British Racing (GBR) have launched a new campaign, designed to promote the facts around welfare in horseracing and challenge and correct inaccurate information shared by people who are opposed to it.

It is called HorsePWR. The campaign's name is centred on a clear need to better connect with people around ‘purpose, welfare, and responsibility’ in British racing. It will make us much better placed to stand up for our sport and educate people about the facts.

Sad to report that one of our original owners (Dream Makers) has died. Gerard Clinton.. A man who loved his racing..

Not only did Gerard have horses in training in the UK he also loved being involved in French racing.. Gerard was Chairman at Exeter Racecourse and was immensely proud of his Devon Estate.

A charming humble man who made everybody feel at ease and very welcome..He was a man on the go and just a very special person to be around and as you can imagine did a great deal for the local community and charity.

Deepest condolences to his wife of 65 years Nicky, and their children Caroline, Charles and Detta..
