Warwick..Oh so close. Shantou Express ran a far better race and was narrowly beaten. Second.. Hate it! But after almost a year of no show from SE it was just so good to see him run a far better race. Sadly the handicapper will have his say next week as the first two finished way in front of the third.

Last night’s fashion show! Actually it was fun.. And no I did not have to parade myself otherwise I might have fallen off the stage.

After we finished being interviewed by Luke Harvey, Fergal, Jonjo and I all offered mornings on the gallops as an auction prize.. Jonjo included Champagne, Fergal water and I offered Bloody Marys and dancing girls! Maya looked suitably horrified!

Racing TV were here first lot to film..Jack Nicol and Tom Bull..

Tom Bellamy and Ciaran Gethings were in to ride out..

Gary Betley called in third lot to see his KBRS horse Phantom Getaway.

Tony Palmer and Charlotte Foley were also here third lot to see their KBRS horses Isle Of Gold and Moon Rocket

Was just reading your blog today and noticed the Melbourne Cup no joy for the Brits comment.

Interestingly there was a Brit link and actually a link with Thorndale Farm.

Ellie who learnt so much from you, Matt and the team following her year working on Saturdays at Thorndale (about 8 years ago) has been riding Knights Choice out for the last 3 months and was lucky enough to look after him on the day

Ellie has such fond memories of her year with you and we were lucky enough to be making our first visit to her in Oz when the race was on.
