Plus 11 and dry when driving in.

Our first winner of the 2024/2025 Jumps season yesterday at Ffos Las with the aptly named Magical Escape..

Magical Escape who is one of Peter Kerr's in house KBR Syndicates kicked our season off in fine style when carrying a penalty for his recent win at Chepstow..

Not the easiest of rides, but a horse who has great ability, it was a much improved performance compared to his win at Chepstow..

Two wins from his last two runs, and he rather gives the impression that he enjoys travelling to Wales..

ME will now have his summer holidays and return to the fold next season and go chasing, which by looking at him he will appreciate..

Anyway well done to his team The 'Surprise Syndiacte' who are Phil and Gill Andrews, Robert and Nicola Baillie, Gary Andrews, Peter Band and Wendy Prince, John and Laura Garrett, Barry Greening, David Smith, Chris Trigg; and Alan James.. Sadly nobody was there to support..Ffos Las is a long way from most parts of England!

Hereford last night was quick ground and all too fast for Von Hallers..

David Bass was in this morning, Ciaran Gethings and Mat are up at Kelso... We jumped Shady Wadey and Gerard Mentor

The biggest sporting event of the year crowd wise starts today.. Badminton Horse Trials.

Maya trying to sort my Instagram account which has been hacked!!

We have two runners today. Brendas Asking runs at Kelso and I am heading to Fontwell to saddle Bare Assets. For my thoughts, please click here..

We were hoping to have run The Edgar Wallace at Newton Abbot today but the curse of their winter weather has hit them yet again.. Flooded! You have to feel sorry for this go ahead racecourse.

Another racecourse having trouble is Worcester who have just announced that they will not be racing on May 24.. Rerouted meeting, like their earlier ones.. to Hereford..
