First Flow finally arrived in Ireland with Kayleigh Thompson yesterday afternoon.. He was a tired boy and mightly relieved to be off the horsebox.. He will soon settled in to his new home.

Market Rasen is also quite along way from home. Shantou Express ran no sort of a race and probably showing the effects of a harder race at Ludlow than we thought and a long season.

Saturday morning.

David Bass and Ciaran Gethings were in to ride out.. Not that many left in the yard now as most are out at grass..

We jumped Parc d'Amour, Jeudidee, Lady Gwen and Grand Escaparde.

Derek and Shan Eaton called by to see their KBRS horse Campaign Trail.. CT is currently out at grass on his summer holidays.

Big day for the Bailey family..

'No relation' Patrick and Sarah Bailey hosts their daughter Jemima wedding this afternoon. Jemima marries William MacLeod.. Weather looking good for a fun day..

Kirkland Tellwright will not be at Haydock today..

Kirkland was one of the finest Clerks of the Course and served Haydock for 23 years.. Haydock is by far the most dificult racecourse to read as their weather can throw surprises when you least expect them..

We shall miss his cheery face, dedication and love for his racecourse. The mantle now lands in the lap of Daniel Cooper.. Good luck Daniel as you have huge boots to fill..

It will be interesting to see how many trainers will be on Kirklands Christmas card list in 6 months time?

We have one runner tonight at Warwick and three tomorrow at Ludlow.

Hurlerontheditch heads to Warwick tonight, while tomorrow Gerard Mentor, Behind The Veil and I Got Stung head to Ladies day at Ludlow.. For my thoughts please click here.

My PA Maya is working at Ludlow.. She runs a mobile bar buisness..Tippled Fox..If racing please ask here to make you a martini cocktail..

A Priest is driving down the road when he comes acros a pig lying dead in the road.

He contacts the police to inform them of his find.

A Cocky desk sergeant laughed and said.''Did you give it the last rites?'

'No' said the priest.. 'I thought I'd inform his next of kin first!''

Have a great weekend and see you on Monday..

To finish .. Happy birthday to First Flow's new keeper Kayleigh Thompson
