Plus 12 and damp when driving in. 16mm of rain last night!

I am often asked what my ex jockey Norman Williamson is doing nowadays.. He might have ridden my Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Master Oats and Campion Hurdle winner Alderbrook but today he is a leading consignor at most of the jump and flat sales through his Oak Tree Farm but specializes in the 2 year old breeze up sales.. Last weekend he sold the highest 2 year breeze up horse ever sold.

Clare and I are away today.. Peter Deal’s memorial at his favourite venue Lord’s.. The Long Room.. Peter was a very keen and excellent cricketer.. He was also a debenture holder in the Mound Stand..A venue for many after match drinks.. He also loved his cricket tours..
