Over the years we have had a water propblem here at Thorndale. We are fed by springs and the water is pumped up to the yard but when the sheep and horses are thirsty at the same time, we often struggle with the amount of water that comes down or up the pipe.. This has now been sorted as a new pipe line has been laid through the farm..It meant a fair amount of digging!

Mrs B and I are heading down to Cornwall later to stay with Henry and Clarissa Daly.. Then we are heading off to Barcelona in a couple of days time for a week’s holiday.. We always go away this week.. it is the last time we can get away before the season really ramps up... Not only that Mrs B is ready for a break and a bit of boating....

So, the blog is being left in the capable hands of Maya, Mat and Peter and then next week we have some interesting guest bloggers to keep you amused..... Enjoy..
