Great night at the TBA Awards dinner last night. Trelawne might not have won but we certainly had a great night...
Nick Luck compared and then to his surprise won the main award of the night.. deserved...
I am up here all day and will be looking at the horses that sell tomorrow rather than the unbroken horses..Very hard to buy these lovely youngsters without an order..
Over the years I have gone to this sale and bought up to 10 horses on spec, but times have changed, and it has been become increasingly hard to find somebody with the patience to keep them going until they run…
I still have Court In A Storm for sale.. He was an unbroken 3 year two years ago and he ran a blinder in his only bumper to finish second and should win one before going hurdling next season. Buying 'made or ready to run' horses is far easier.. Patience is a virtue.. but on the other hand, many owners would now prefer more instant action..
