Plus 9 and dry when driving in.

Chepstow had really good jumping ground yesterday.. If only others were as lucky..

The standing start messed up any chance Magical Escape had... The start is everything..

The first false start ME was in the perfect position, but the second being standing was not ideal as he missed the break and lost a good 10 lengths which he never really made up in the race.. he was always playing catch up..

It was a rough race early doors and a huge learning curve for a horse only having his second race over fences.. Frankly, the winner won so easily we would not have even if everything had gone according to plan..

It was so mild at Chepstow that we had our post-race chat outside the owners and trainers bar areas. Barmy!

Mr Grey Sky does not run today.. he pulled out very stiff this morning..

I left mid-morning to head to Ascot to walk their course..with the wireless on..
