An excellent supper with Michael and Angie Storey last night.. Fellow guests were Jim and Susie Wilson..
I like 6 for supper..that is a good side of what covid has produced..
Thursday is our easy day but for 6 youngsters it was their chance to have their first away day.
We took The Getaway/You Should Know gelding, Undercover Lover, Parc d’ Amour, Rose And Thistle, Tregele and Magical Escape.
Paul Higgs was here third lot to see his KBRS horses Chazza, Voyburg and Percy Veering.
Someone asked me yesterday if I felt there were less Cheltenham previews.. I am not probably the one to ask as I am not a fan of them.. I do think there are less.. I have been asked to do two.. Both on the same night.. I put Mat in for one and another Matt asked me to help him on one as a favour..
Mine might be more fun than Mat’s .. Mat is doing one for the Daylesford team at the Wild Rabbit while I am taking the London route and doing one with Matt Chapman, Richard Johnson, Bryony Frost and Harry Findlay.. At least I won't have to say much!
The banter…The panel have thoughts on horses and their chances and so do the audience.. who wins?.. The audience as they pay!!
21 years today..Time flies being married to Mrs B..where would I be without her....
It was snowing and bloody cold 21 years ago but we made it to St Peters Church Rencombe....
When I asked the florist yesterday for some flowers to celebrate 21 years..She rather bemusedly asked.. your 21st??
