Plus 10 and dry when driving in.

The Tattersalls Cheltenham sales yesterday were busy. Not as mad price wise as Goffs Doncaster sales last week but then the quality was not as good. The better horses certainly found their mark with four horses making a 100k or more.

I bought lot 15 Dusty Pearl.

I was at Chaddesley Corbett point to point when Dusty Pearl finished second to Article Fifty who subsequently made 115K last week at Goffs.. Watching the race at the time I thought Dusty Pearl shade unlucky not to have won..DP then finished third in the Aintree bumper a week later beaten in a photo for second... yes he should have finished second.. Who knows but I love the look of the horse, he is a great walker and can only improve as he is only a baby at 4.. yes we dream.

The world is going mad.. Donald Trump pulling out of the Paris climate agreement..The Americans must be so regretting their decision to put him in charge of their country?

Moving away from depressing news..

The Oaks today and Aiden O’Brien classic machine moves into full swing with Rhododendron looking all over the winner after her impressive 1000 guineas success.. Aiden is currently a 10/1 shot to win all the British and Irish classics.. What does that tell you..He is a bloody genius.

Yesterday England were good at the Oval and looked impressive when beating Bangladesh.. injury worries though.

Harry Bailey has been in Sydney a week now and informs me that he is riding the yearlings.. bloody hell they must breed some very big yearlings down under!

Tom Bellamy was in for two lots this morning

We have no runners today or this weekend.
