Plus 10 when driving in this morning.

With Kim away this week, the office is somewhat quieter and Matt is holding the reins, there is no spritely welcome from the lovely Dougie either.

No runners from us today but, we do have a few entries, luckily nothing at Worcester following their battering in the media this week.

Two new Handicap Ratings this week with General Picton receiving a mark of 103 and Involve 91, both over hurdles.

We had a new member of staff join our team this week. Amber comes to us from the British Racing School and I hope that she enjoys her first week in a racing yard; it is always a little easier starting during the summer months as it is more relaxed.

All our new horses purchased from the sales went out in the field yesterday for a summer break. I am particularly looking forward to following Alfie Corbitt, he looks a lovely horse and I hope he performs well.

One sent through from Avril Geary…..

Paddy and Murphy fancy a pint but only have £1 between them.

Paddy goes off and buys a sausage.

Murphy says “Are you mad? Now we are skint!”

“Come on” says  Paddy “ Follow me”

They go into the pub and order two pints and drink them before they pay.

Paddy shoves the sausage through the zipper of his jeans and tells murphy to get down on his knees and suck it.

The barman goes berserk and throws them out

10 pubs  and 10 pints later, Murphy says

“I cant do this anymore, my knees are too sore and I’m pissed”

“How do you think I feel”  says Paddy, “I can’t even remember which pub I lost the sausage in!!”
