Plus 11 when driving in this morning.
I managed to arrive just as the string were going off to the gallops this morning, I do miss the riding out when the weather is like this, not so much in the midst of winter. Luckily Kim hasn't asked if I'd ride out just yet!
It's Andrew Thornton's last day in the saddle today at Uttoxeter, we wish him all the luck with his last four rides, hopefully a winner will come from one of them.
Such sad news to hear about Denman this morning, one of my favourite Gold Cups was seeing him triumph over Kauto, a mighty warrior with a relentless gallop.
One to lighten the mood.....
'A young blonde woman is distraught because she fears her husband is having an affair, so she goes to a gun shop and buys a handgun.
The next day she comes home to find her husband in bed with a beautiful redhead. She grabs the gun and holds it to her own head.
The husband jumps out of bed, begging and pleading with her not to shoot herself.
Hysterically the blonde responds to the husband, "Shut up...you're next!" '.
