Plus 14 when driving in this morning, although it certainley doesn't feel like that, rather chilly actually.

It's my last day writing the blog for Kim, I hope that you have all enjoyed it and have not unsubscribed completley! It is actually quite hard producing "a good read" every day and it's amazing that Kim has continued to repeatedly provide interesting and fun content. When I began telling people that I had the job working for Kim Bailey, they would always mention his blog and how good it was.

I have only been here for just over a month now and already feel like part of the furniture. It's a great team to be a part of and I am really looking forward to the season ahead and getting my head back into the racing game.

It's been a quiet week with runners but all the horses are looking well, both in the stables and out in the fields.

A suitable joke for the day.....

An Assistant Trainer was leaving the yard office late one evening when he found the Trainer standing in front of a shredder with a piece of paper in his hand.

"Listen" said the Trainer, "this is a very sensitive and important document here and my secretary has gone for the day. Can you make this thing work?"

"Certainley" said the Assistant Trainer. He turned the machine on, inserted the paper and pressed the start button.

"Excellent" said the Trainer as his paper disappeared into the machine "I just need one copy"!
