No jockeys in this morning; yes they are still on holiday.

I am delighted to see that the new BHA fixture list still gives Jump racing a 10 day break next August..

I know I have said it before .. another week I sure would have done them more good..

They all work every day of the year, drive miles, occasionally fall off at 30 odd miles an hour and even more occasionally break bones.

I am not sure many of you reading this would appreciate a 10 day holiday…and dont forget you have to work every Saturday and Sunday..? I wouldn't!!

Anyway we are missing David Bass’s smiling cheery face; he is obviously lonely as I found this postcard (right)on my desk yesterday saying how much he was missing us.. after 48 hours?….

David has wisely extended his holiday by two days after his recent ban on Net Work Rouge for trying too hard.. Life is all about timing?

Peter Kerr was over all morning as Mat and I are away. I am at Doncaster Sales all day

Peter and Olive Smith were over this morning to see their KBRP horse Silver Eagle... Mentioning KBRP.. Shares in our new horse Desaray is selling fast... 3 left..

Giliian Morgan was over late morning to see her horse Aunty Ann

Wednesday is normally our work morning, but with not many to work and with Mat and I away that has been put on hold for 24 hours.

Doncaster Sales or rather Goffs Sales all day today..We are selling Magic Money and Crazy Jack and I might come home with one.. who knows?
