Plus 7 and dry when driving in.

Saturday and Newbury.. The Old Hennessey Gold Cup day.. Not quite the same now the Ladbroke Trophy Cup…?

Takes time to register change..?

We started with Diamond Gait in the mares listed hurdle.. the ground was too soft for her but she still ran well to finish 4th.. More to come from here..

I have to say Saturday was a good day if your are called Perriss..

Johns Rockys Treasure ran right out of his skin to finish second at Newbury to Santini.. It was a hugely good performance from this young chaser.. he is improving hand over fist.. RT's previous three starts were all wins, but beating nothing of note and Saturday he took on the big boys and did us all proud.

Again the same at Bangor when Penny’s Wandrin Star hammered what looked on paper to be a very competitive novice handicap chase. He won by an easy 12 lengths...Mikey Hamill again won on this big imposing chaser, who also won best turned out..

Mikey will be unwrapping a set of wing mirrors in his stocking over Christmas.. he is last 3 wins for us have been by a total of 48 lengths..

Our other runner on Saturday was not so pleasing as Diva Reconce was a nightmare to saddle and threw me down twice in full public view and gave Leigh a black eye!! She was upset by something and when we finally did get the saddle on she ran no sort of a race.. a day to forget for her as she is far better than that.

Bangor again excelled with their owners experience.

We have no runners today although Knockanrawley and Full Tilt had an away day.
