CC absolutely bolted up in the bumper at Market Rasen yesterday for Francis Brooke and Richard Plikington.. to watch the race

I bought CC with Aiden Murphy at the Tattersalls Cheltenham Sale in Newmarket this spring.. love at first sight..

Thankfully Richard Pilkington, who was so keen to buy him at Newmarket stepped forward with Francis Brooke to buy him and as they say so far so good, although I was marginally surprised that he was second at Ascot.. Ah the Germans I hear you say again..

David Bass was always confident and now the plan is that CC will have a mid season break and come back in the spring.. he is a horse who I believe is growing and it is all about next season when he goes hurdling.. He looks and is a very exciting for Francis and Richard..

The previous owner of CC was Ben Halsall son of the great entrepreneur and Aintree Director Alan.. Ben is now living in Ireland and is buying and selling horses so CC is a good advert for his skills..

I was at The Yorton Sales yesterday.. a long way to go to see 25 horses. Anyway prices were high but I did come home with a good sort in Lot 10 Broomfield Present.. He is a 5 year old so we can get straight on with him.. Yes he is for sale..

Friday morning and we have 4 runners today.
