Plus 1 and dry when driving.. Not quiet the first frost of the winter..
Clare continues to progress. Out of bed yesterday and a slow walk round the ward with a helping hand from me.
It was a reminder of the slow march down the aisle with my daughter last September, although the end this time was a loo rather than a vicar.
Clare has had a few visitors and Clarissa Daly was one yesterday, she arrived bearing fruit.
A cuddly teddy bear appeared in the post, along with a balloon, from Jim and Melinda Wilson.. I can only assume the soft teddy was welcome reminder..
Last night Nicholas and Cherry Jones kindly took me out for supper.. A first eating visit to The Stump..Pizza were excellent. A fun evening and not a late one thankfully.
Thursday is our easy day and it is now that we have starting working many more horses.
We did though give Adjourned, Imperial Aura, Does He Know, Diamond Gait and Fubar a hack over the hurdles.
Warwick Races today, not with a runner, but as a guest of John Webber and Richard Sheppard who are sponsoring The Colliers International Business Rates Services Handicap Chase..
Hopefully that race title gives you some ideas as to what John and Richard do.. And they are very good at it and they now help most racecourses.
John and Richard own Robin The Raven and Winter Glory. John has shares in two of our KBRP horses, Subway Surf and Espoir De Romay while Richard is also involved in Subway Surf
Tom Dollard the breeder of Fubar sent this over.. It made me laugh..
