Three wins on the trot for Rockys Treasure.

Yes it sounds good.. It certainly looked that on paper as he won by 24 lengths. Impressive. A great result for his owner John Perriss.

The bare form might not stack up as the only horse with form and good hurdle form to boot was not in a going mood. Poetic Rhythm who was a graded winner over hurdles has not taken to fences which will test the handicapper on how to asses the form.

But having said all that RT still carried 12 stone 2lbs and jumped out in front for fun. Where now.. we will ponder..

Wetherby was bright and sunny so it was not surprising their ground changed to good to firm in places after RT’s chase. A much improved racecourse when it comes to looking after owners and great staff to look after you. Good vibes from all. Down side.. No best turned out awards..

The journey home on a Friday night went quickly!!

David Bass and Tom Bellamy were in this morning. We worked a few.. not many.. not much rain around.

We jumped Mon Palois over fences.

Michael and Patrick Doody, Sue Harries plus two guests, Andy Denyer plus a friend were here for a morning on the gallops as booked through CD Tours.

Ian and Pam Farnsworth were here second lot to see their KBRP horses Knockanrawley, Pond Road and Silver Kayf.

We have two runners over the weekend. Fubar at Ascot today and Arthurs Sixpence tomorrow at Huntingdon .. For my thoughts on their chances please click here.

Stay for the fireworks after racing at Ascot.. they will be brilliant..
