We had a fair few of his owners with us for the afternoon at Chepstow and although they enjoyed their day out it would have been far better if their horse had done something to boost it..
At least the racecourse looked after them well and the brighter spot of my day was bumping into one of my owners Carol Vorderman who gave me a large 'cwtch'…
Thursday is our easy day although Percy Veering, Galante De Romay, Thruthelookinglass and Imperial Hurricane had an away day..
Talking high spots of the day mine was a booster jab and a flu one to boot..
We have no runners today..
Young Dylan comes home from school and tells his mother he’s been given a part in the school play.
“Wonderful,“ says his mam. “What part is it?”
The boy says: “I play the part of the Welsh husband.”
The mother scowls and says: “Go back and tell them you want a speaking part.”
