Minus 1 and dry when driving in.
Yes as forecasted on Sundays ITV news the weather has plummeted to Minus 1..
It is an odd prediction of mine that horses who failed to win their first bumper, fail to win next time.. Harde Fashion is proof of that particular pudding, but that won't stop him winning hurdle races....4th..
I think I will give lovely Fakenham a miss for a while as David said it does not seem to suit our sort of horses..!
Boris has had his say.. The country is in lockdown, but thankfully racing will continue and thats probably thanks to the work of the BHA.. we are an elite sport..
Looking on the bright side.. jockeys don’t hug and kiss each other after winning..nor do trainers.. mind you they are more likely to do something very different.. and under current terms they probably don’t even go racing..
Hopefully we have proved that we are a safer sport than some who are called Elite..
I just hope and pray that this lockdown sorts the problem, but I do feel sorry for children. Archie and his friends all over the country will not enjoy being stuck at home, learning off a computer. Difficult times for them as interaction is so part of a young persons life..
From a personal front how lucky am I to still have horses to train and able to commute to work and be outside in the fresh air.
