Plus 9 and dry when driving in.
Shantou Express won easily at Stratford on Saturday night.
It was a race he won last year and this 3 and ¼ mile handicap hurdle, like last year, was a weak race again.. it was just good to see him jump off in front and dominate at his own speed how the race was run.. He jumped brilliantly and frankly he won as he liked..
SE has been running in competitive races all winter and running well but was probably not good enough to win, so this race was targeted from Christmas as a race that was likely to cut up like last year.
Peter Kerr who runs all our in house KBRS horses took a box at Stratford as we have a huge turn out of owners and supporters to wanted to be there.. slightly more local than some of the tracks he had been running at so all in all it was a cracking night out.
Monday morning.. A good weekend of sport and thankfully no disasters in The Derby .. Just another brilliant training performance for the maestro Aiden O’Brien.. that was his 9th Derby!!
Late morning Shan and Nick Cook, Tim and Linda Caven were here to see their KBRS horses El Eio and General Hubble and Tom and Binka Keane were here to see their KBRS horse General Hubble
A blonde and a brunette were taking the elevator to the lobby from the 25th floor.
On the 23rd floor, a great looking man with ruffled hair gets into the elevator. The women exchange a look acknowledging just how good looking this man is.
The man gets off the elevator on the 12th floor. The women watch him exit the elevator.
The brunette turns to the blonde and says, "God was he good looking, but someone ought to give him some Head & Shoulders."
To which the blonde replies, "How do you give Shoulders?"
