We had visitors this morning..

John Lee was here third lot to see his KBRS horses El Rio, Does He Know, Parc d’Amour, Fair Frontieres and Lets Go Amigo.

David and Fran Ratcliffe were also here to see their KBRS horses Parc d’Amour and Isle Of Gold.

Ed Hawkings was here late morning to see and discuss his horse Kylenoe Dancer.

The NHS is 75 years old today and my only experience so far with their excellent services was when I spent 3 weeks in their care at the Gloucester Royal after being attacked by Discitis..

All I can say is that they were excellent and all the staff were brilliant.. the only downside is their after care as when I was asked to have a repeat MRI scan it was a 6/8 weeks waiting list and going private was 4 days.. I am back there on Friday to see the team who looked after me, with my MRI scan pictures, hopefully for a check up and finally being signed off..

Paddy and his two friends were talking at the bar..

His first friend says: "I think my wife is having an affair with the electrician..The other day I came home and found wire cutters under our bed and they weren't mine."

His second friend says: "I think my wife is having an affair with the plumber. The other day I found a wrench under the bed and it wasn't mine."

Paddy says: "I think my wife is having an affair with a horse."

Both his friends look at him with utter disbelief.

"No, I'm serious. The other day I came home and found a jockey under our bed and it wasn't mine."
