Plus 1, foggy and dry when driving in.

I played the market without success yesterday when trying to buy Clay at the Tattersalls on line sale..I did not set my online bidding limit high enough!

I did some videoing of horses for their owners last night during evening stable, but will do more this morning.

David Bass, Ciaran Gethings, Chester Williams and Harry Beswick were all in this morning to ride out.

Ciaran said that yesterdays Chepstow ground was as bad as he had ever ridden on .. At least he is spared of finding that was not true with todays meeting off. ..

We jumped Vinndication, Balleticon, Imperial Aura, Hamilton Dici, Another Venture, Shanacoole Prince, Gerard Mentor and Party Fuzz..

If you have nothing better to do than watch the cricket.. Root a century yesterday in his 100^th Test. Oh what pleasure to watch cricket on Channel 4 and see sun.. blessed are they. The game has progressed this morning and going very much Englands way .. well certainly batting wise.. heading for a draw?

The Six Nations starts this weekend so more sport on TV.. It is sport that keeps us all going and although we don’t have any runners this weekend I shall be watching.. The ground won't be much fun which is one of the reasons we have no runners.. ‘

England take on Scotland this afternoon..

Also the big Dublin Racing Festival in Ireland is well worth watching from Leopardstown. Cracking racing and loads of Cheltenham trials..

Todays Grade 1 novice chase at Sandown is worth 20k to the winner and todays Grade 1 at Leopardstown is worth 70K.
