Plus 4 this morning. What is with this weather..... yesterday we had sun followed by sleet and then hail!
Yesterdays runners...
Blazon roared back to form after suffering from bad stomach ulcers, winning at his favourite track Kempton, a brilliant result for his patient syndicate of owners.
Rocky's Treasure led them a merry dance for two circuits but folded tamely, the plan to see if we had rekindled Rocky's earlier season winning form was scuppered when he overreached and finished lame on his off fore.
Mary Dulverton was here yesterday to see her horses Sammeo, Sayadam and Talk of Fame. David schooled the lovely Sayadam and I found two photos in the outtakes and have decided they both deserved a "caption competition" I'll do one today and another tomorrow - the best one sent through will make it onto the following days blog....
We have been starting to rebook our Morning's on the Gallops Tours for the upcoming season, with covid restrictions being lifted we should be able to get back to serving our cooked breakfasts - hopefully Bex Tarling will be returning.
Back to today and we have Stewart & Bev Wright here third lot to see Tantoli, Wild Presentation and the latest syndicate horse available by Getaway out of Charming Leader.

The recycling boxes have arrived at the yard, it's time to start getting a little greener and no I am not talking about the grass! I am not sure I will be known as the Funniest Racing Secretary by the team when I introduce them!
