Plus 6 and drizzling when driving in.

Three out of four. That is Commodore Barry’s total of wins to runs.

Yesterday at Southwell CB took the 3 mile novice hurdle in fine style.. jumping off in front and never being headed. Ears pricked enjoying himself.. We like that, as do his owners The Commodores..Vince Burmingham, Caroline Swire, Chris Trigg, Anne Waters, Brian Cognet, John Garrett and Angeles Kennedy.

Commodore Barry is by the sire Presenting and most of his offspring prefer better ground and CB will probably wait for better ground in the spring.. A chaser in the making.

Sainte Ladylime loves heavy ground so it was not heavy enough for her, but she ran well enough to finish 3rd .. The eye catcher of the meeting in the Racing Post.

David Bass was in this morning and we worked a few and jumped..Full Tilt, Cloone Lady, Early Learner, Vinndication, Charbel, Dandy Dan and Thibault.

Moira (Frisky) Nutting who was Captain Forster's secretary for many years died over the weekend. Frisky was instrumental in me keeping Lois Duffey as an owner. Frisky lived up to her name as she was very much a fun personality. Thoughts to her husband Nick..
