Plus 5 and drizzling when driving in,

David Bass was in this morning as was Ciaran Gething.

We worked a few and jumped Happygolucky, Espoir De Romay, Owbeg, Rose To Fame , I Cant Explain, What A Baloo, Commodore Barry and Newtide.

We had Simon Ruddick and Steve Clarke here for a 'Morning on the Gallops Tour' as booked through CD Tours. It is also Steve's birthday who is the father of one of my staff members Sean Clarke.

Also here were Shonagh Turner and Steph Hudson, a gift voucher purchased by Shonagh for Steph's Birthday

Steve Harris and Dave Harris were also here, courtesy of a Christmas voucher purchased by daughter in law Dawn.

Another Christmas gift saw Tim Dudfield and Joyce Butler here for 'A Morning on the gallops' tour as purchased by their grand daughter Siobhan Jackson... ..Lots of celebrations today!..All the above booked through my web site..

Did you watch Jason Maguire on the Friday Club on Racing TV last night?

Jason was good, although he never looked happy being in the studio..anyway he looked smart.. wearing a tie..Lots of chat about horses he rode and trainers he rode for..

Martin Dwyer, who was also on the panel, thought I was rather serious.... I am sure Jason added 'boring' to the loop!!?

A man in the news is our Jason.. Melissa Jones wrote this piece for the papers this week, all about Jason and his Ivy Lodge Farm..

We have four runners over the weekend.

Chazza and Rosmuc Relay run today at Hereford and Miss Gemstone and Bobhopeornohope tomorrow at Warwick. For my thoughs on their chances please click here.

I am pleased to say that the WellChild preview evening Ed Chamerlin hosted on Thursday raised over 17k for the charity. Pictures from the night... These preview evenings should all be helping a charity.. not the organisers pockets!

This is ridiculous.. 70000 in the crowd crammed together and the players are not allowed to shake hands....Have no fears if we are lucky to have a winner next week I will kiss and shake hands with as many people as possible!!

Important to have a sense of humour.. especially now...

Andrew Pease unfortunatley had to text his wife last night..

Hi Darling.

I'm down the pub with the lads having a quiet drink.

Unfortunately, someone just coughed everywhere so we have been quarantined..

See you in 14 days..

On that note, have a great weekend and I will see you on Monday.. god willing..

And before I forget Happy birthday to my PA Maddie Webster..

Maddie shares her birthday with ex trainer David Arbuthnot and ex Chairman of Warwick Racecourse David Hill.. and of course many others..
