Plus 6 and sunny when waking in Liverpool.7 mm of rain overnight ..not good news

What a great run by Gallery Exhibition to finish 5th in yesterdays Topham Chase.. We were very proud as he jumped well and although the ground was too soft for him he ran with great courage.

Well the big day has arrived.. Nerves?

Too early to worry but being a guest on The Morning Line meant an early start to Aintree which was good as it kept the mind on the move.. A course walk after, always refreshing.  Bloody long wait to 5.15!!

The Last Samuri's big test today.. will he handle the soft ground.. will he jump those big fences.. will he stay.. Lord only knows but for my thoughts Please click here..

ROMANCE

Barb was lying in bed one night. Art was falling asleep but Barb was in a romantic mood and wanted to talk. She said: "You used to hold my hand when we were courting."

Wearily he reached across, held her hand for a second and tried to get back to sleep.

A few moments later she said: "Then you used to kiss me..."

Mildly irritated, he reached across, gave her a peck on the cheek and settled down to sleep.

Thirty seconds later she said: "Then you used to bite my Neck..."

Angrily, Art threw back the bed clothes and got out of bed.

"Where are you going?" Barb asked..

"To get my teeth!"

Have a great weekend......And dont forget the local point to point at Andoversford.. a fun family day out..
