Milord finished 5th at Taunton yesterday. A victim of his last win.. too much weight

One of Milords owners emailed after the race..''Well done Kim..He seemed to find plenty at the finish!''...

..This was shortly followed by another email..''Kim, You must have thought I was being sarcastic! When I tried to watch the race on my computer through At the Races but it picked up his last race. Such is life''. (he won!)... Brilliant..if only..

Darren Smith was here second lot with two friends Ian Greig and Paul Baynes to see his KBRP horse Monrocco.

Back to Aintree..

At 10.30 this morning I did a course walk for the Grand Women's Summit ...celebrating women in horseracing, sport and business. I was joined joining Katie Walsh (. she had a fall yesterday) and Carrie Ford.... course walk followed by lunch and a talk from Randox Health, the sponsors of the three day festival here at Aintree.

We have no runners today..

A man arrives at a cinema after the movie has already started.

As his eyes adjust to the darkness, he is surprised to see a dog sitting beside its master in the row ahead, intently watching the movie.

It even seems to be enjoying it: wagging its tail in the happy bits, and hiding its eyes with its paws at the scary bits.

After the movie, the man approaches the dog's owner, "Wow, mate, your dog really seemed to enjoy the movie. I'm amazed!"

Yes, so am I," came the reply. "He hated the book."
