Lara Wilkinson (daughter of my accounts secretary Sandie) is part of Hockey for Heroes; a branch of Help for Heroes, raising money in support of all injured military service personnel.

In May this year she will take part in Operation Endure:

An 8 day Challenge starting in Glasgow on the 26th May and finishing in Canterbury on the 2nd June.

They will complete 8 military challenges and play 28 games of hockey. Our challenges range from a 10 mile tab to completing an assault and a 5 mile stretcher carry. It will be both physically and mentally draining and definitely the hardest challenge she has ever undertaken. However, as a squad we have been training hard and are determined to raise as much money as possible.

Help for Heroes is a fantastic charity and since joining Hockey for Heroes Lara has seen the benefits of their fundraising.

She feels very honoured to be a part of the squad and any donations to the charity would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to donate please click here.

I am still an avid reader of your blogs and watch whenever possible when you have a runner.

I do enjoy owner of the month articles and pictures, like the fact you occasionally name your hard working staff.

I laughed my head off at yesterdays joke, thought it time l sent you one...

A man goes into the doctor with a lettuce sticking out of his arse

"That looks nasty", says the doctor

"Well", says the man "that's just the tip of the iceberg"

Good luck Kim and your team at Aintree, I'll be there in spirit. Andy.....

Have a good weekend all and see you on  Monday.
