Plus 15 and dry when driving in.

Last night I went over to see John and Penny Perriss and their horses, this was followed by supper in their local.

The horses looked as well as I have ever seen them and their local pub The Chandlers Arms was pretty damn special as well..stunning food..

My gentle drive home was not helped by a text from Royal Shipton’s Mike Evans warning me that the local Police were very active as 15 traveller Caravans had moved into the sports field next to his golf course entrance.. Not sure they are anything to do with the local 2000treees weekend?

Mrs B and Archie in London .. more cricket today at Finchley..

Tattersalls July Sales started with a bang yesterday.. Mostly breeding and the Australian racing connection incredibly strong.

The Womens Euro Championship started last night with team England winning the opening match against Austria.. A full house at Old Trafford.. Who would have believed that 10 years ago.

“If you can keep your head when all about you

Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,

If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you,

But make allowance for their doubting too;

If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,

Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,

Or being hated, don't give way to hating,

And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise.....Rudyard Kipling..

Hard to find a suitable joke this morning .. But this is one that tops all.. Absolutely bonkers!!
