Plus 14 and drizzling when driving in.

Darren Smith was here with his two daughter Lauren and Poppy second lot to see Darren's KBRP horses Vinndication and Arthurs Sixpence.

David Shuttle was also here to see his KBRP horse Does He Know.

Ben Hastie, who is the head groundsman at Cheltenham racecourse and a very decent photograher in his spare time, was here to look at my fences and he also saw the Cheltenham and South West Syndicate horse Hes No Trouble.

Our vet Graham Potts was in this morning for his usual Tuesday visit.

Sad to see that the Sussex Stakes winner Too Darn Hot has had to be retired due to an injury sustained in last weeks race.

A hair line fracture is not life threatening and certainly not normally career ending, but in a well bred flat horse, who has another career ahead of him at Dalham Hall Stud, then it makes sense to retire him now..

Archie is racing his pony at Newbury today.

Therapist: Your wife says you never buy her flowers, is that true?
