Plus 11 and dry when driving in.

Oh dear.. Well done India you outplayed England!

There was good news if you enjoy British success. Emma Raducanu wins in The US Open. England retain the Solheim Cup

I was able to catch up on  a few more photos for the horses in training page..

Tuesday morning and David Bass was into ride out.

Graham Potts our vet was in for his Tuesday visit and this weeks movers and shakers in the BHA handicap charts were..Gerard Mentor up 4 to 87 for finishing second at Newton Abbot last week, while Grey Flint went down 3 to 84

Sad news .. Stevie Broadhurst who has worked for me for just over six years has decided that she needs a break from racing and is leaving in a months time.

Stevie has been my second travelling head person for the last 2 years..Stevie has been excellent and we shall miss her..

Sadly that means we are now looking for somebody to replace her.

We are therefore looking for somebody who has good communication skills and can drive a horsebox. A clean driving license would be good and the person applying needs to understand racing and take charge on the road and the racecourse when they travel to meetings around the country.

They must be responsible for transporting the horse’s equipment safely and must arrange everything to ensure the horses are kept in the best possible condition whilst away from the yard, and help and look after the staff travelling with them.

They need to present themselves and my horses in the best possible condition..clean and tidy..Representing Team Thorndale

They must be able to oversee the saddling of the horses and on times represent the me, which means declaring and speaking to the jockey and owners…

On top of this role they must be able to ride out and be part of the team here at Thorndale when not racing…

Please be in touch if you are that person.. with references etc..Phone 01242890241.. or email info@kimbaileyracing.com

Phil Andrews was here mid morning to see his horses... Dandy Dan, Mr Grey Sky, Those Tiger Feet, Party Fuzz, The Edgar Wallace, Duke Of Earl and Destroytheevidence.. And his KBRS horses Blazon, Vinndication, Fair Frontiers and Magical Escape.

Late morning my new Bank Manager Tom Jonason was here to make himself known to me..

I actually knew Tom when he was assistant to Paul Nicholls..

Scary how young they have become!.. Policemen and Bank Managers!

Inca Rose, Imperial Aura, Imperial Hurricane and Imperial Icon all returned to the yard late morning.

Facetious Humor..

RAISIN:  Grape with sunburn.

SECRET:  Something you tell to one person at a time.

SKELETON:  A bunch of bones with the person scraped off.
