Plus 12 and dry when driving in.

Jason Maguire and Tom Bellamy were in to ride work on Sonneofpresenting and Monkhouse. Too dark for photos..

Henry Morshead and Tom Clarkson were also in for one lot..

Our vet Graham Potts was not in as planned for his weekly visit.. He is coming tomorrow.

This weeks movers and shakers in the handicap charts are..Emily Gray up 2 to 145, Magic Money down 2 to 106, Net Work Rouge up 2 to 135, Trojan Star up 1 to 111 and Battle Dust enters at 120.

Thanks for all the emails and comments re my list of racecourses on yesterdays blog.

Your emails certainly made interesting reading and of course you all have racecourses that you love going to.. My Mother In Law was right to suggest Kelso, but not many of my owners have been there, hence it was not on the list.. The interesting thing to note was that bar one person, who disagreed with the overal thoughts on Ffos Las, every one seemed to agree with the bottom racecourses..

This is probably appropriate..

Guts and balls..

There is a medical distinction between Guts and Balls.

We have heard colleagues referring to people with Guts, or with Balls.

Do they, however, know the difference between them? Here the official distinction; straight from the British Medical Journal: Volume 323; page 295.

GUTS  Is arriving home late, after a night out with the lads, being met by your wife with a broom, and having the Guts to ask: Are you still cleaning, or are you flying somewhere?

BALLS- Is arriving home late, after a night out with the lads, smelling of perfume and beer, lipstick on your collar, slapping your wife on the bum and having the Balls to say: You’re next, Chubby.

I trust this clears up any confusion.

Medically speaking, there is no difference in the outcome: both are fatal..!!!!!!!
