Behind The Veil ran a far better race than last time.. learning..

Sadly El Rio pulled up and was diagnosed with an irregular heart or an Atrial fabrillating heart.. Sprinter Sacre and Denman both suffered from this during their career and recovered..

Taunton is a rather quaint racecourse and locally hugely popular.

Keith and Liz Ellis (BTV) upgraded to the Orchard Restaurant where the food was very good, while El Rio’s team were based in their Syndicate room which again was excellent.. Far better than the owners and trainers which was packed with syndicates..!

Tuesday morning.. David Bass was in.. we needed to work a couple..

Sandown cancelled Veterans race has been rescheduled to Warwick on Saturday..

The great JPR Williams died last night.. A wonderfully tough player on the field of Rugby, he was also a brilliant tennis player.. He beat David Lloyd to win the 1966 Wimbledon juniors title..What a life..

Goodbye Franz Beckenbauer.. A fabulous footballer..
