Plus 15 and damp when driving in.
Second. Smile. Delighted. Difficult. Bloody hell another second.
Dear Forgotten Hero again ran a blinder and again so nearly won at York yesterday. The extra furlong was not a problem; he is so relaxed now and almost too so.
The plan yesterday was to see if he would relax enough to get the Ebor trip of one mile six furlongs and all he did yesterday over one mile four was stay. The Ebor here we come; perhaps that will be our big day. Forgotten Hero is currently 50/1
The top surface is almost on the gallop and although it was not finished last night as hoped, we will be back on it early next week.
Talking last night it was a joy to walk around the fields looking at all the horses enjoying their last few days of relaxation. Most look wonderfully well and most will be back here by the end of next week. Holidays over and all our team are back next week too.
Federer beaten sadly as I am a great fan. Murray through to the finals with ease.

Tomorrow we have two runners at Perth. I love Perth and this will be my first visit since my mate Sam Morshead has retired and with sadly no David Whitaker as Chairman; it is all change since my last visit.

My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the beginning and when I confront him, he denies everything. What's worse, everyone knows he cheats on me. It's so humiliating.
Also, since he lost his job 14 years ago, he hasn't even looked for a new one. All he does all day is smoke cigars, play golf, cruise around and shoot ball with his buddies and has sex with hookers, while I work so hard to pay our bills.
Since our daughter went away to college and then got married; he doesn't even pretend to like me, and hints that I may be a lesbian. What should I do?
Dear Confused: Grow up and dump him. You don't need him anymore! Good grief woman, you're running for President of the United States!
