Plus 12 and damp when driving in.

I cannot tell you how happy I am to hear horses neighing .. The yard has been empty for too long. Bad for business, although not so for either horses or their owners.

A big thanks to Charles Levinson and Alexia Robinson for allowing me to rent their fields. Yesterday we lead the following horses back from their Owesdwell Manor Stud where they have been grazing happily and contently ..

These happy chaps and few ladies..who now return to school..

The Last Samuri, Red Spinner, Alfie’s Choice, Mr Brinkley, Champion Chase, Harry Topper, Derrintogher Bliss, Chateau Robin, Un Ace, Fizzy Dancer, Shaluna, Sainte Ladylime, Cascaye, Aunty Ann, Jupiters Gift, Glenforde, Grand March, Abbreviate, Gallery Exhibition, Royal Supremo, King Simba, Boy in a Bentley, Aliandy, Desaray, Gaelic Myth, Robin the Raven, Silver Kayf, Another Venture, Braw Angus, Milord, Monkhouse, Nam Hai, and Trojan Star all returned into training yesterday.

More will be coming in over the next few days.

This weeks movers and shakers in the handicap charts are..Forgotten Hero  up 1 to 94 Magic Money up 5 to 115.. Thats why I hate finishing second..penalised for not winning..

We have one runner tonight at lovely (sunny?) Worcester.. Yes Ballyknock Lad and David Bass meet up in a hurdle race.. Ballyknock Lad is a chaser and this gives you some idea how difficult it is to find suitable long distance races over fences on a galloping track, and on fast ground.. Please don't rain too hard on Worcester as we need fast ground.. Anyway for my thoughts on their chances please click here..

23rd June was not that long ago.. All change.. Now women rule the world.. well it seems to be most of it or about to?

The new season is about to start and our hopes are high... so much so that others must feel the same
