Mat enjoyed his weekend away although he was not impressed with his football team.. shambolic was the word he used this morning.

I am afraid I did not watch a single race all weekend, but I did watch William Haggas talking to Matt Chapman on yesterdays At The Races morning show..Racing Debate ..What he said makes a huge amount of sense..

Something needs to be done sooner rather than later.. All well and good saying ground is the biggest issue, but gone are the days when horses had to survive a ballot when trying to run in races.. Too much racing and not enough horses in training to fill them..

The ban on low graded Irish handicappers running in England has certainly incensed many Irish trainers..Perhaps their owners would like to move them over here to be trained?.. Many of our top owners are going the other way..

Tantoli headed off to a new home yesterday.. He will now go hunting and do the odd one day event.. Rehoming Racehorses..
