Plus 4 and damp when driving in. We had welcome rain all night..

Huntingdon over the years has been a lucky racecourse for me; I have had more winners there than any other course.. Sadly yesterdays runner Texas Forever over jumped at the first and that was the end of his race..The luck ran out..Bugger!

Thankfully Huntingdon's Directors Joey Newton and Dan Richmond Watson kindly asked TF’s owners Nanette and Deborah Sellar’s and Philip and Sandra Arkwright for lunch.. Long way to go for lunch but it made up for a disappointing run… well sort of?

Supper last night with Nicholas and Cherry Jones, Simon Claisse and Annabel England in Kibousushi.. Nicholas and Cherry kindly lent us their house in Islay last summer.. supper was good fun...

David Bass was not in this morning as he was riding out Barters Hill. Work carried on without him and there will be a video of those horses who worked this mornings work can be seen here.

John Webber was over with Jo Moore and Sue Holloway to see John’s horse Robin The Raven canter and have breakfast after.

Steve and Chris Adams were over third lot to see their two KBRP horses Silver Kayf and Desaray.

We have two runners today, but neither in England. Gallery Exhinbition runs at Bangor and Cascaye runs at Ayr. For my thoughts on their respective chances please click here.

Cricket England were 102 for 3 at Lunch.. in India

Mark Vestey's memorial service will be held in Cirencester at 2.30 next Wednesday, November 16.

They prépare with plenty of cream milk and fillets of chicken.

They arrive at Roscoff to swim to Plymouth. They plunge into channel and set off at a very fast pace.
