Minus 7 and dry when driving in.

Rocky's Treasure really has been a star horse for owner John Perriss and all at Thorndale.

Rocky has run 34 times winning 8, (4 at Doncaster) second 4 times, third 4 times and fourth twice… We have had our up’s and a few downs.. He has never been the most flamboyant jumper but he has taken us all round the country from England, Wales, Scotland and Norfolk and won in all countries..

Yesterday was a 0-120 Conditional jockeys Veterans chase and with Kai’s 8lb claim meant that he ran of 110..

Kai is now 6 wins from 13 rides since he arrived here in July. It has been a good move for him..

As to RT's future, John will sleep on that but he has remained in training for an extra 2 years as David Bass promised he would win a race on him.. RT did it..But without David!

It was a fine performance from all and John P was suitable thrilled.. What a season he is having..

David who drove to Bangor to find it called off just as he arrived, then rerouted to kick Johnny Burke off Shantou Express (yes jockeys are allowed to do that)in the lucky last at Cheltenham..

Back over a hurdles and thinking that this would be too good for him, SE ran a blinder and was still in front turning for home.. The last two hurdles removed because of low moonlight mean that he missed out on the jumping .. SE still ran a race full of promise to finish 5^th..Happy owners with a runner at Cheltenham.

I did not attend last nights Cheltenham Tattersalls sales as we have just bought two new horses from Ireland, which you will hear about next week when they have arrived.. Prices last night strong as were the foal sales all this week.

We cantered most as I don’t like working horses in minus degrees..

Kevin Williams was here to see his KBRS horse The Kemble Brewery and John Battershall was here to see his KBRS horse General Hubble… John’s wife Mandy went down to see the Mat and Evelyn’s new off spring Sylvie resting at home.

We were to have had a runner today at Cheltenham.. BUT IT IS FROZEN OFF..

Cricket.. England going well..
