Plus 3 and dry when driving in. A dry week ahead.

Yes dry and after Saturdays big wedding dry would probably mean something completely different.

What a wedding it was too. The bride looked stunning and the groom was funny.. The service was full of happy faces and when the father of the bride was asked 'who gives this woman to be married' one of the page boys said 'I do.'.

The weather was kind enough that the reception was held outside with the stunning back drop of the Cotswolds.

Party fun followed by a great band and disco.. Dancing until the early hours until Disco Dave did his bit  on the drums and cleared the floor.

I have a particularly good draw at dinner.. Sarah Henderson on my left and Amelia Martyn-Hemphill on my right.

All in all and epic day. Mr and Mrs Ed Cookson...

Miss Gemstone ran a blinder to finish second at Ludlow yesterday; we were pleased to be second as we should have finished third and if you click here you will see why.. ..

Peter and Fiona Woodhall called in.

Rumour has it Nick Cook is calling by this morning to see his KBRP horse Younevercall on his way to Taunton .. Umpiring..

After 35 years of marriage, a husband and wife came for counselling.

When asked what the problem was, the wife went into a tirade listing every problem they had ever had in all the years they had been married.

On and on and on: neglect, lack of intimacy, emptiness, loneliness, feeling unloved and unlovable, an entire laundry list of unmet needs she endured.

Finally, after allowing this for a sufficient length of time, the therapist got up, walked around the desk and after asking the wife to stand, he embraced and kissed her long and passionately as her husband watched - with a raisedeyebrow.

The woman shut up and quietly sat down in a daze. The therapist turned to the husband and said, "This is what your wife needs at least 3 times a week. Can you do this?"

"Well, I can drop her off here on Mondays and Wednesdays…………..but I go fishing on Fridays.
