Plus 16 when waking from a restless night, someone again tried to break into my house last night, luckily we now have full security so were woken up and the person was scared off by alarms!! What the hell is wrong with people!!!! 

Yesterday morning was spent walking around the fields checking on the horses, they all seem to be thoroughly enjoying their holidays, plenty of pop bellies waddling around. It's so lovely to see them relaxed, I stupidly took apples with me so got mugged in the first field.

Matt and David headed off to Batsford Stud to see Lord & Lady Dulverton's horses followed by a stop in at Martin Jones's to have a look at the previous sales horses Kim purchased, they are all currently being broken in. The Irish ones are on their way over today, thanks to all the paperwork it does take a little longer than usual.

We have one runner today at Newton Abbot and that's Grey Flint for owner Caroline Swire, Jonathan Burke is riding as David is still off and Ciaran is heading up north. For our thoughts on his chances please click here. 

No runners over the weekend but our next intended runner is Design Icon who you can see is looking well after his last winning effort.

Most important thing to do today is to get the new TV up on the wall before Kim gets back, as Matt says he can't do DIY it looks like I'm on my own and the tv is bigger than me so this could be interesting.....

I have started putting things in place for our 2021 Owners Lunch - fingers crossed everything keeps going in the right direction and we can hold this special event again this year.
